Manitoba Falcons 3 – Vancouver Selects 3
The Falcons were down 2-0 after the 2nd period until Stelio Mattheos took over and scored twice and added an assist to give the Falcons a late 3-2 lead. The Selects then pulled Hollett and got a goal from Henry Rhyu with 45 seconds remaining to force a tie in a great game!
Alberta Alliance 5 – Calgary Spartans 4
A very competitive game which saw the Alliance come back in the 3rd period from down 4-2. Jarred White scored twice for the Alliance while Jaedon Kalupar scored 2 for the Spartans. The Spartans fall to 2-1-1 and the Alliance pick up their first win.
Vancouver Vipers 5 – Vancouver Selects Blue 0
With the win, the Vipers move in to a first place tie with the Calgary Spartans.
Calgary Spartans 5 – Edmonton Selects 1
The Spartans move to 2-0-1 and sit tied with the Falcons now. The Selects are now 0-3-0 and have given up 18 goals in 3 games. Kyler Kupka, Dawson Bruneski and Ethan McIndoe have been pretty good though for the Selects. Franklin, Dubourdieu, Haden and Labant very good for the Spartans so far.
Manitoba Falcons 7 – Alberta Alliance 4
The Falcons move to 2-0-1 and the Alliance are now 0-3-0. The Alliance have been outscored 16-7 and the Falcons have outscored the opposition 14-7. Stelio Mattheos has arguably been the top forward in the tournament with Christensen and Gutenberg proving to be very dominant as well.
